Collaborations & Volunteering
Sail Britain - The Creative Residency
The Creative Residency is a collaboration between myself, Christina Peake and Sail Britain. The residency came about from our first trip, where we debated, shared ideas and inspired ourselves. That created a ripple effect into our work for 2022 to deepen our connection to the natural world.
Our collaborative residency can be found here.
Surfers Against Sewage South Coast Regional Rep
Surfers Against Sewage is an environmental organisation that aims to improve the health of our oceans.
As a regional representative, I help organise beach cleans, give talks to local schools and businesses, as well as advocate their campaigns in my local community such as ‘speak up for our rivers’ and the ‘million mile clean’. I am also involved in some research based campaigns including water quality testing and micro plastic testing.
Guest Content Writer
I have worked and collaborated with various NGOs and organisations to write articles and blog posts, such as the Nakawe Project, and NGO dedicated to the protection of sharks. I have also worked as a content writer for the University of Southampton when I was a student, talking about STEM, oceanography and ripple effect of Blue Planet II.
If you’d like me to write for you please do get in touch!
Solent Seagrass Champion
I worked as a volunteer with the Hampshire and Isle Of Wight Wildlife Trust to assist with the monitoring, surveying and planting of seagrass in the Solent.
